TRADITIONAL "LINGGO NG BULACAN"
CELEBRATED
Malolos, Bulacan, March 21, 1998 - The province of Bulacan observed the traditional "Linggo Ng Bulacan" last March 3 to 10, with a showcase of its history and culture.
The celebration climaxed on March 10 which is Bulacan's Foundation Day. The highlights of the week were agro-trade fair, exhibits, stage-plays and the presentation of awards to Outstanding Bulakenos of 1998 and the proclamation of the winners in the Lakan and Lakambini '98.
There was a parade of floats from the Bulacan State University grounds to the Provincial Sports Complex in Sta Isabel, Malolos which passed through the town center of the capital. About 24 towns from the province participated in the parade.
