RP COUNTRYSIDE SUMMER TOURS
Manila, March 18, 1998 - Adam's Express Travel (tel. 5223876) has unveiled its summer program of Philippine countryside tours.
The newest attraction is the Malasag Eco-Tourism Village in the outskirts of Cgayan de Oro. It is described as a pleasing gem of nature, well-tended gardens surrounding ethnic households showcasing tribal arts and crafts. The tour is combined with a visit to the idyllic island of Camiguin, scenic Malaybalay and a trip to the Del Monte plantation.
In Cebu, the must-see places are Plantation Bay and the new Waterfront Hotel with its lively casino.
Zamboanga City's Vistamar Resort has the unique and very popular treetop accommodations, a good way to commune with nature. A bonus if shopping at the barter market for exotic clothing material from neighboring Asian countries.
A Safari Tour to Busuanga in Northern Palawan is an experience that cannot be duplicated anywhere else in Asia. The wildlife refuge for rare and endangered African fauna has successfully bred the transplanted animals, many of which have since been exported to zoos and sanctuaries around the world.
Bali comes to mind when touring the Pearl Farm of Davao. Boracay, the best beach in the world, now beckons with the assurance of community awareness of the environment.
Tours could be arranged for individual travellers as well as groups.
