ANOTHER GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB FOR CLARK
Clark Field, Pampanga, March 9, 1998 - The centennial celebrations at Clark have been assured on an added attraction: the True North Golf and Country Club, which has just been issued an environmental clearance certificate (ECC) by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
Already nicknamed "Clark's Magnificent High" because of its elevation, True North's first 18 holes of a total of 36 holes starts construction immediately to meet the June 12 deadline.
Sacobia Hills Development Corporation president Jimmy Koa said the DENR approval could not have come at a better time, considering True North's potentials to make Clark a favorite tourist destination. Clark Development Corporation has been promoting the lure of golf courses and theme parks as come-ons to local and foreign tourists.
