TAGAYTAY SHERATON STARTS CONSTRUCTION
Manila, March 4, 1998 - The P2.47 billion Sheraton SM Tagaytay Resort project has been granted pioneering incentives by the government's Board of Investments.
As a proponent of a pioneering project, SM Investment shall enjoy a six-year income tax holiday, or two years longer than that enjoyed by non-pioneering ventures.
The Sheraton Resort will be composed of a 15-storey building with 530 rooms on a sprawling 19- hectare property. Convention facilities will include a 1,000-seat ballroom and 114 function rooms.
Other attractions are: an entertainment, area, sports facilities, health club, spa, swimmingpool, hi- tech busines center, four helipads and excellent dining facilities.
Construction is set to being in July 1998, with commercial operations expected by August of the year 2000. costumes
