LUNG CONVENTION IN MANILA
Mandaluyong City, March 3, 1998 - Leisure and Travel report from the Philippine Journal announced the 17th Annual Chest Convention to be held at the Shangrila's Edsa Plaza Hotel in Mandaluyong City, from March 3-6, 1998.
The convention heralds the celebrations of the Philippine College of Chest Physicians' (PCCP) silver anniversary. Latest updates and developments in the field of pulmonary medicine will be featured and there will be local and foreign specialists expected to grace the momentuous occasion.
Heading the guest list of experts is Dr Gregory P. Downey, associate professor of the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. He will discuss the relations of molecular biology in the field of pulmonary medicine. Downey is also the training program director of the division of respiratory diseases at the University of Toronto. His research interests involve the molecular basis of pathophysiologic conditions.
