DINA BONNEVIE AND HUSBAND SNUBBED BY LAKAS?

Quezon City, March 28, 1998 - Dramatic actress and TV host Dina Bonnevie and her husband Dick Penson were reportedly given the cold shoulder by Quezon City stalwarts during a big campaign rally to proclaim the party's candidates.

In a published article, businessman Ramon Orosa claimed that it is he and not Dick Penson who is the official LAKAS-NUCD congressional candidate in the third district of Quezon City.

The article quoted Orosa saying that Penson and Bonnevie were denied access to the stage for they were not invited to the affair.

Penson and Orosa are both after the same congressional slot's LAKAS nomination.

Penson and Bonnevie attracted much attention while campaigning during the LAKAS rally. They also campaigned for LAKAS senatorial candidate Lisandro Abadia who was their wedding sponsor.

The real LAKAS official candidate for Representative of the third district of Quezon City will be known only after the Friday midnight deadline for filing of certificates of candidacy for local positions.
