SHARON MISCARRIAGE DENIED

Manila, March 27, 1998 - Fans woke up to distressing news on the morning TV News: Sharon has had a miscarriage!

The news spread like wildfire and it took a clarification from the Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management Inc., run by Francis Pangilinan's sister Angeli, to straighten it out.

Angeli (Mrs. Gary Valenciano) was on the phone with brother Francis, who confirmed Sharon's delicate pregnancy.

According to Francis, Sharon's hormonal level dropped, but a check with her doctor revealed that there was no cause for alarm as mother and baby were doing fine. The megastar just needs a lot of rest and regular visits to her OB gyne.

The couple will be home for good in August so Sharon can give birth in Manila in November.
