Manila, March 24, 1998 - Angelu de Leon, pregnant with Joko Diaz' baby, has no plans of getting an abortion.
"I know what I did (getting pregnant) is wrong but I don't want to correct that wrong by committing another mistake. My conscience can't take it," Angelu told writer/confidante Ricky Lo.
Although the 19-year-old star is sure that she's conceiving, she is not planning marriage in the near future to her love Joko.
"He's not ready and neither am I. But he's willing to marry me. Although, according to the Family Code, I still have to get my mother's consent. I do not know if my mother will agree to it. Otherwise, we'll just have to wait until I am of age," Angelu confessed.
There are no plans either for her and Joko to live together, even if they want to, for the sake of the baby. Her mother, however, has accepted the fact that she's with child.
"Wala nang magagawa ang Mommy ko. My mother is resigned to the situation. Maybe she has realized that I really love Joko. My mother knows me very well. I will stand up alone from where I fall," Angelu said.
And her advise to fans?
"What I did is wrong, a mistake. Do not make the same mistake."
