ROSANNA NETS P3-M FOR AD AMANDA REJECTED

Manila, March 3, 1998 - The Manila Times reports that Amanda Page was offered P1.5M to endorse an anti-fungal cream in an ad.

Fair-skinned, Balikbayan Amanda thought the anti-fungal product did not go well with her image, so she turned it down.

It was offered to Rosanna Roces, who has no qualms and no hang-ups about her image. Rosanna, with her offbeat and sometimes shocking sense of humor felt so secure about her sex symbol image that she accepted the proposal.

Rosanna has even made the ad's catch-word "Flawless!" a popular expression by using it often in her afternoon talk show Star Talk.

Thanks to Amanda's refusal, Rosanna is now richer by P3 million, the amount the advertising agency thought was what Rosanna's endorsement is worth.
