PEZA CENTENNIAL SHOWCASE SHOWS OFF RP'S BEST
Manila, Feb. 22, 1998 - Thousands are expected to flock to a unique trade exhibition at the World Trade Center this weekend, for the rare chance to purchase locally the cream of the crop, the best of the best exports which normally are not sold in the Philippines.
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has given special permission for some 300 export producers to sell their export products at the PEZA Centennial Showcase, a sure crowd- drawer at the World Trade Center from Feb. 21 to 24.
The Centennial Showcase is a PEZA project in cooperation with the Philippine Industrial Estates Association and the various PEZA Investors Associations. Participating are hundreds of export- oriented manufacturing firms, ecozone developers, utility and service providers operating at economic zones.
Leading electronics and IT companies in the showcase are: Texas Instruments, Intel, Hitachi Computer Products, Toshiba Information Equipment, Fujitsu Computer Products, Philips Semiconductors, Sanyo Semiconductors, Ionics, Epson, and many others.
On display are car accessories, electrical products, sporting goods, shoes, furniture and fixtures, packaging materials, leather goods, footwear, transport equipment and parts.
