MRS. ADORNADO DROPPING ANNULMENT SUIT?
Quezon City, Feb. 18, 1998 - The wife of basketball legend William "Bogs" Adornado is set to withdraw her petition to annul her marriage to the former Most Valuable Player of the Philippine Basketball Association.
The lawyer of Mrs. Agnes Heredia-Adornado has notified the Quezon City Regional Trial Court that his client will be withdrawing the petition for declaration of nullity of marriage, support and support pendente which she filed two weeks ago.
Mrs. Adornado, who has been estranged from her husband since she left with the children four years ago, had asked the court to annul her marriage on the grounds of psychological incapacity because she claimed the former PBA star is a homosexual.
Some journalists are hinting that an out-of-court settlement may have been agreed upon by Adornado and his estranged wife.
