Manila, Feb. 26, 1998 - Filipino movie matinee idol, Wowie de Guzman will protray for the first time in his acting career, the role of a transvestite in his latest movie, "Muli Nating Ibalik Ang Tamis Ng Pagibig" (Let's Recreate the Sweetness of Love), with superstar Judy Ann Santos.
Wowie is not worried that he will be type-casted as gay. He said he likes the role and it is really all "very cute" and funny. He said he will be wearing lots of female dresses in most of the movie but will come out as his real male persona at the end of the movie.
"At first it was difficult acting and I couldn't help but laugh all the time. But I enjoyed the role. I don't think my fans will get turned off. First of all it is only a role in a movie and "cute naman talaga ang dating" (It turned out to be a cute role).
