Manila, Feb. 20, 1998 - William Martinez does not regret giving up his movie career to live with his wife and kids in the US for seven years, doing odd jobs until he rose to become an insurance executive.
He confesses that it was a very tough life in America, but he feels it is all worth the experience, because he is much closer to his wife Yayo Aguila and to their two daughters.
When he returned to the Philippines and resumed his movie career, he knew he was no longer leading man material, and took on any available role to support his family.
Today, his acting is getting rave notices, and he has just finished work on a new movie "Kung Ayaw mo, Huwag Mo" with his former cinematic partner Maricel Soriano. The movie is their first together after 11 years.
