Manila, Feb. 15, 1998 - The recent and "final" marital break-up of real-life husband and wife team, Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez and the cancellation of Martin's long-running TV show "after Dark" in Manila has brought Martin mostly US-bound.
It was rumored that the TV show host and singer has left Pops for another woman residing in the US. Pops have been reported to have said that marriage just won't work if there is only one who remains in love and the other not anymore.
News is hot in Hawaii that Martin is being considered to host the 1998 Miss Universe Pageant in Hawaii if Hawaii wins the bid as the 1998 host country.
Martin has accepted the changes in his life and career and is moving on.
