IPE OKAYS LIPO FOR KRIS

Manila, Feb. 14, 1998 - Earl Blue of the Evening Tempo yesterday wrote that actor Philip Salvador has finally said OK for live-in girlfriend Kris Aquino to undergo liposuction.

Kris, youngest daughter of former President Cory Aquino, has tried everything to lose weight and regain lost curves, to no avail. And she's reached the age where baby fat is not cute anymore and does not go well with the format of her TV talk show "Today With Kris Aquino."

Earl says her uncontrolled weight gain has unified Kris Aquino's fans to support her efforts to look better, and liposuction is her last resort.

Philip is reported to have been against liposuction, until he saw with his own eyes what liposuction did for his leading lady Rosanna Roces. Now, he's convinced and has reportedly given the go-ahead to Kris.

Kris is busy going around with her Mom Cory campaigning for presidential candidate Mayor Alfredo Lim. Liposuction will keep her activities to a minimum for a couple of weeks, and then it's off to the campaign trail with a slimmer, shapelier Kris.
