CHRISTINE JACOBS GETS OVER VIC SOTTO

Manila, Feb. 11, 1998 - Christine Jacobs considers her on-and-off relationship with "Eat Bulaga" host Vic Sotto the biggest hurdle she had to overcome. But overcome it, she did, although it became a sort of stigma she had to live and deal with for a long time.

In an interview with Ian Farinas published by Malaya, Christine confessed that she and Vic have realised they are better off as friends. They have also become a lot more professional, not letting their personal feelings get in the way of work.

Christine's secret? Like other show business personalities, she has found her way back to God.

It began with the help of then "Eat Bulaga" co-host Rio Diaz, who brought along Christine to Bible study sessions several years back. It was only last year, though, when Christine took the path back to the Lord seriously.

Now, she dreams of walking down the aisle and spending the rest of her life with the man she marries. "It does not matter whether or not he's from show business, as long as we both are close to the Lord," she adds.

She now dreams of hosting a TV talk show, and hopes the man she marries will love her enough to allow her to go on with her show business chores even after marriage.
