SHARON'S LAST MOVIE MEDIOCRE IN BOX OFFICE
Manila, Feb. 9, 1998 - Megastar Sharon Cuneta's farewell movie, Nang Iniwan Mo Ako (When You Left Me) with Albert Martinez and Matthew Mendoza and directed by Joey Reyes, did not fair very well in the box office inspite of the megastar's very rigid promotions of the movie when she went home to Manila for a short break from her present life as a wife and mother in Boston, USA.
In the movie, Nang Iniwan Mo Ako, Sharon played the role of a separated wife trying to put her life together by being a successful businesswoman.
Sharon left the Philippines last summer with her politician husband, Francisco "Kiko" Pangilinan who is on scholarship at Harvard University. Joining the two is Sharon's daughter, KC (fathered by Gaby Concepcion).
Sharon takes breaks from her homemaking in Boston by giving concerts in various parts of the US like California and Las Vegas. She spends hours on her computer at home in Boston communicating to Manila, writing letters and keeping an eye on the flow of her career in Manila while she is temporarily away.
