POPS LOSES VOICE, HOSPITALIZED

Manila, Feb. 6, 1998 - Pops Fernandez was rushed to the hospital after losing her voice and collapsing for fatigue while preparing for "Shine The Concert" which is her first Valentine show without her husband Martin Nievera.

She was so sick that she missed her own show A.S.A.P. which resulted in more gossip that she was merely avoiding being in the same studio with Martin.

The couple's marital problems continue to be the talk of the town, and could have contributed to the brisk sales of tickets to "Shine" which have been sold out for days.

"Shine The Concert" will be held at the ULTRA on Feb. 7, Saturday.

Martin will have his own Valentine concert with Zsa Zsa Padilla at the Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel.
