NEW REAL-LIFE ROLE FOR BOOTS ANSON-ROA

Manila, Feb. 4, 1998 - Boots Anson-Roa, multi-awarded dramatic actress, has been appointed chief of production by Premiere Entertainment Productions.

Premiere's Film Production Division is currently completing the preparations for the exhibition of five film projects within the first semester of 1998. The production division now evaluates 30 production proposals under the new program.

The move is part of Premiere's plans of aggressively tapping the non-theatrical distribution markets -- television, video, cable and other alternative exhibition venues -- for its rich library of classical and contemporary local and foreign productions.

Premiere is one of the pioneers in the field of coordinating Hollywood productions being shot on location in Asia.
