NASUGBU HOTEL-RESORT OPENS
Nasugbu, Batangas, Jan. 30, 1998 - The Evercrest White Cove Hotel held a soft opening yesterday, launching several function rooms and 50 of its 250 rooms.
The White Cove Hotel is at the center of the 500-unit Evercrest White Cove Marina Resort, a 36- hectare complex being developed at a total cost of P2.6 billion.
The Marina Resort will also feature residential units overlooking the beach and with a breathtaking view of Fortune Island. It's facilities and amenities include a casino, shopping village, food court, amusement center, sports facilities and restaurants.
Ever Gotesco chairman Jose Go said the resort area is 50% finished. "We hope to complete everything and be fully operational by the end of the year. This is the time to invest in properties, which are the best hedge against devaluation," he said.
The resort will have 100 berthing and full yachting facilities near the breakwater. This will complement the Evercrest Yacht Club.
