HEATS UP

-Some 40 riders are expected to race it out for the various titles at stake
as the 1998 Pennzoil Jet Sports Tour holds its second leg this weekend
at the Subic Waterfront Beach.
Rider of the Year awardee Bimboy Ignacio is the favorite rider, expected to repeat his double victory in the Stock Runabout 1200 and the Expert Runabout 785, to become the first back-to- back champion in the 8-year history of the Jet Sports Association of the Philippines.
His closest rival is John Marcelo, who is after his first title.
Both Ignacio and Marcelo scored perfect feats in the last leg and organizers expect a tight showdown in the next three rounds.
