MARK ANTHONY AXED FROM MOVIE

Manila, Jan. 31, 1998 - Mark Anthony was hit by a doubly whammy two days ago. After being absent for three consecutive days from the location shooting of a Regal movie, Marc was fired from a role that would have starred him with Eddie Garcia and Christopher de Leon.

That same day, his manager Douglas Quijano, who is also line producer of the movie dropped Mark as a client.

Mark's role was given to Jomari Yllana, and Douglas asked other talent managers if they wanted to handle Mark.

Lolit Solis, who is the manager of Mark's father Rudy Fernandez, refused.

"I won't be able to handle him," Lolit said. "Mark's just like his mom Alma Moreno, who sacrifices her career whenever she's in love."
