MIKEE COJUANGCO-DUDUT JAWORSKI ROMANCE

Manila, Jan. 29, 1998 - The doyen of Philippine entertainment journalism, Ethel Ramos, wrote in her column published by the newspaper Malaya that Mikee Cojuangco is in love with Dudut Jaworski.

Mikee, who is now a nationally-known TV and movie actress, is the heiress of the Tarlac Cojuangco fortune. She's a daughter of Tarlac Governor Margarita "Tingting" Cojuangco and Tarlac Congressman Jose "Peping" Cojuangco. That makes her the niece of former President Corazon Aquino and first cousin of TV-movie personality Kris Aquino.

Dudut, of course, is the son of basketball legend Robert Jaworski, soon-to-be-senator under the opposition LAMMP party of Vice President Joseph Estrada. Dudut's mother is the daughter of actor-Senator Ramon Revilla, which makes Dudut the nephew of Cavite Vice Governor Bong Revilla.

Dudut himself, following in the footsteps of his famous father, is a popular PBA basketball star.

The two lovers were introduced by Mikee's friend and fellow equestrienne Toni Leviste and her beau, PBA cager Vince Hizon.
