DJHOANNA GARCIA RETURNS TO CONCERT CIRCUIT

Manila, Jan. 28, 1998 - Djhoanna "Gigi" Garcia has resumed her career after 16 long years of absence. Gigi, who at one time was actress, TV host, recording artist and Tawag ng Tanghalan discovery, disappeared from show business when she fell madly in love with one of the Asistios of Caloocan.

"I have no regrets," she now says. "I have daughters (Lady, 23 and Alexis Grace, 11) and my grandchildren."

She admits going through a lot of pain when she separated from her politician lover, but she found peace in 1993 when she became a born-again Christian.

With new-found confidence, she held a series of concerts produced by her good friend Vivian Velez (Miss Body Beautiful) at the Rembrandt Hotel in Quezon City. What followed were in Orange County and Los Angeles, California.

She will star in Valentine concerts (Feb 11-12) at the spacious China Bistro in Quezon City. With a live back-up band, Djhoanna will sing Barbra Streisand standards and gospel songs.
