ANJANETTE SUING OVER DOCTORED CALENDARS

Manila, Jan. 19, 1998 - Actress Anjanette Abayari today announced that she's in consultation with lawyers on legal action against the persons/companies responsible for hundreds of thousands of Tanduay Rhum calendars where her face is "transplanted" over someone else's semi-nude body.

The former beauty queen was obviously upset and on the verge of tears as she narrated to Boy Abunda of GMA-7 how her entire family and staff are distressed about the calendars.

"I feel violated," she confessed. "How can they do this to me, after four years of my working very hard to gain the respect and acceptance of the movie industry?"

Fortunately, her US-educated boyfriend, award-winning athlete David Bunevacz is understanding and comforted her when she discovered the anomaly.

Anjanette showed the TV audience the set of photographs taken for the calendars, showing her in provocative, but not-too-revealing, costumes.
