ANGELU REPLACES VINA IN ROBIN MOVIE

Manila, Jan. 19, 1998 - Vina Morales succeeds in keeping her cool and not showing any emotions when asked about the latest setback in her career: Viva's decision to give the starring role in Robin Padilla's first movie outside prison to Angelu de Leon.

Vina claims to have been promised the role opposite her former boy friend, but apparently Viva has changed its mind and chose a younger, more bankable actress.

Movie observers are also speculating that the Robin-Vina romantic pairing is no longer hot and could spell disaster for Robin's comeback movie.

Vina says it is enough for her to know that Robin himself chose her before the movie's producers prevailed. Her only consolation is the pending release of her new album under OctoArts-EMI Records, which promises a brand new Vina.
