MARK ANTHONY LAUNCHED AS ACTION STAR

Manila, Jan. 15, 1998 - Controversial young star Mark Anthony Fernandez is being repackaged and launched as an action star in Regal Entertainment's "Sonny Segovia: Lumakad Ka sa Apoy" with the able support of his real-life mother Alma Moreno.

Following in the footsteps of his father, action star Rudy Fernandez, Mark Anthony confesses that action pictures are what he really prefers to shoot.

Just like his father, Mark Anthony prefers to do his own action scenes without using a stuntman double.

Mark, who's reviving his movie career, co-stars with Richard Gomez in a yet-to-be-released movie "Dugo ng Aking Dugo" which is followed by an action-drama with Eddie Garcia and Christopher de Leon.
