CARMI BACK IN SCHOOL

Manila, Jan. 14, 1998 - Carmi Martin is back in school, enrolled in a General Education course and mastering her English subjects in order to preach God's word in English.

Carmi does not have to drive or commute to a campus, give up her hectic TV and movie shooting schedules to finish college. She's studying through the Distance Education Alternative Learning System of the College Assurance Plan Foundation College.

Through the "distance education" system, Carmi is able to study in the comfort of her home or even on the set of her TV shows and movies. CAP College is recognized by the Department of Education and the Commission on Higher Education to grant degrees to students who learn at their leisure, in their own time, any place they find comfortable and convenient.

Once Carmi finishes the requirements of a course, she will take the final exams at pre-designated centers or schools in the Philippines or abroad, or at any of the 180 CAP offices nationwide.

Carmi enrolled to "prepare for a rainy day" when the movies are no longer her main source of income.
