BARON GLAD MATET SUICIDE REPORT UNTRUE

Manila, Jan. 10, 1998 - Newcomer Baron Geisler, who is introduced in "Haba-Baba-Doo, Puti- Puti-Poo!" starring Babalu and Redford White, heaved a sigh of relief when he heard Nora Aunor deny that TV report that her adopted daughter Matet de Leon slashed her wrist.

Baron first caught public attention when Matet said in an interview that she has a crush on him. At that time, he was a member of the show "Ang TV" on Channel 2.

"So I owe Matet a lot for whatever recognition I am enjoying now," Baron states. Baron is part of the trio KOOLITS with John Lloyd Cruz and Marc Solis.
