RICHARD'S PRE-NUPTIAL DEAL

Manila, Jan. 8, 1998 - As Francis Pangilinan did before marrying Megastar, mega-rich Sharon Cuneta, so will Richard Gomez sign a pre-nuptial agreement before marrying Lucy Torres, heiress to a fortune built on logging and sugar in Ormoc City.

Lucy and Goma met in 1993 when they did a Lux shampoo commercial. Their friendship turned into a serious romantic relationship last year, at the tailend of the 3-year romantic liaison of Richard with Patricia Borromeo.

The pre-nuptial agreement is reported by Manila's movie columnists as something that did not bother Richard. After all, he does not have to prove anything to his in-laws. He has just moved in to his brand new P70-million mansion, he is a self-made man who excels in sports, acting and directing.

Richard is spending millions for the wedding, which will be held in Ormoc City on April 28, three weeks after his 32nd birthday.
