PATRICK TALKS ABOUT BREAKUP

Manila, Jan. 7, 1998 - Patrick has broken his silence on the real reason behind his breakup with top model Patty Betita, his girlfriend of two years.

At a press conference for his movie "Anting-Anting" Patrick confessed that constant pressure from Patty's friends to settle down adversely affected their relationship.

"Maybe I' m not yet ready for marriage," says Patrick. "I believe Patty will make a good wife. She's nice and sweet. Our two years together was sort of a commitment for marriage."

Patrick broke his relationship with Patty shortly before Christmas after their constant fights became too hot to handle.

"The spark was gone from our relationship," said Patrick.
