AGA LOSES DAYANARA TO IGLESIAS SON

Manila, Jan. 3, 1998 - The Evening Tempo reports that former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres has no plans of returning to the Philippines to resume here movie and TV career.

The reason, the tabloid says, is Enrico Iglesias, son of Spanish balladeer and international super star Julio Iglesias.

According to the report, Dayanara and the young Iglesias are so serious about each other that they have made plans to get married. Dayanara's future mother-in-law is Filipina Isabel Preysler, the most beautiful and popular cover girl in Europe.

There has been no reaction from Aga Muhlach, the boyfriend left behind by the beauty Queen- turned-actress. It will be recalled that Aga fired her manager Ethel Ramos over Dayanara, at the height of the rumor that Aga and Dayanara were about to get married.

Aga has just finished building a mansion with a pervading Spanish ambience, presumably to suit the taste of the intended future occupant, his bride-to-be.

But some sectors of the movie industry say Aga will not mourn the loss of Dayanara because he is too pre-occupied with a new special friend, Carmina Villaroel, whose friendship with him "blossomed" in October.
