STOCKS SINK TO FOUR-YEAR LOW
Manila, Jan. 10, 1998 - Manila stocks sank to a four-year low yesterday with analysts now seeing any recovery soon.
The main index lost 5.24%, or 91.49 points, to close at 1,655.85, the lowest since July 9, 1993.
Some traders said they expected the index to fall as low at 1,200 to 1,300 if the index breaks its immediate support of 1,600.
