FOREIGN MEDIA COVERS BORACAY FUN BOARD CUP

Boracay Island, Dec. 24, 1997 - International media organizations are sending coverage teams to Boracay to document and report on the 1998 Boracay International Fun Board Cup championship next month.

The event, scheduled to run from January 10 to 18, has so far attracted hundreds of participants from six countries, led by Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.

Among the foreign media groups, maximum exposure is expected from telecasts by MTV-Asia and articles in the Asia Magazine and Opus Extreme Magazine.

The event is organized by Action Asia and Green Yard Beach Resort, with sponsorship from Quicksilver and Neil Pride.
