CENTENNIAL DISCOVERY TOURS LAUNCHED
Manila, Dec. 22, 1997 - Historically significant but previously unexplored landmarks in Metro Manila are the destinations of unique daily tours offered in preparation for the celebration of the Philippine Independence Centennial.
Southeast Travel Corporation has designed a seat-in-coach tour that will visit historical sites in Manila, Mandaluyong, Makati and Quezon City.
Among the stops of the Manila City Tour are Intramuros, parts of Binondo, Quiapo, Malacanang Palace, San Agustin Church and the National Museum.
The Tri-City Tour takes one to the site of the EDSA People Power Revolution, the medical centers and government buildings, University of the Philippines campus in Diliman and various shopping malls.
