WELCOAT-AGFA PLAYOFF FOR FINALS SLOT
Makati City, Dec. 29, 1997 - Welcoat beat Dazz, 82-80, yesterday to force a sudden death playoff against Agfa to find out which team will face Tanduay in the PBL finals.
Defending champion Agfa eliminated Chowking from the race, with a very close 82-79 win.
Agfa needs to win its last game against Tanduay tomorrow and will meet Welcoat for the playoff on Thursday.
