ACTION BACK AT SAN LAZARO DEC 21
Manila, Dec. 7, 1997 - The 1997 Beer Na Beer Grand Championship Race, one of the most prestigious events in the local racing calendar, will push through as scheduled on Dec. 21at the San Lazaro Hippodrome.
More than P600,000 in cash prizes will be at stake in the day of exciting races hosted by the Manila Jockey Club Inc.
The highlight event has a total of P430,000 at stake with this year's champion going home with the top prize of P285,000 and an elegant Grand Championship trophy.
The race is set at 2,050 meters.
