INTERNATIONAL SLALOM AT LUNETA SUNDAY
Manila, Dec. 5, 1997 - Filipino drivers will compete against top slalom experts from New Zealand and Japan Dec. 7 at the Luneta Quirino Grandstand.
New Zealand's entry is champion Neil Allport, while eight Japanese competitors will challenge local aces Vip Isada, Junjun Villaroman, Jaime Pedrosa, Rikki Dy-Liacco and Edgen Dy-Liacco.
The event is jointly organized by the Two and Four Company of Japan, Activity Asia Association and Race Motorsports Club. To be tested in the event is the driving performance of the Nissan Sentra, the official competition car.
Scheduled to run the whole day, the international competition will be followed by regular slalom races for local amateur slalom drivers.
