MARIKINA TO HOST PACIFIC MOTOCROSS
Marikina, Dec. 3, 1997 - Asia's biggest motocross stars are expected to see action on December 7 at a major motorcycle event, the NAMSSA Asia Pacific Motocross Championship, to be held in Marikina.
The one-day event is organized by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association and sanctioned by the Federacion Internationale Motorcycliste (FIM).
Top foreign riders have already confirmed their participation. Among the countries with entries are: New Zealand, Australia, Korea, Thailand and China.
Although motocross is regularly held in the Philippines, this marks the first time that the country is hosting and international event sanctioned by the FIM.
