CENTENNIAL BAGS 2 TITLES IN SINGAPORE YACHT TILT
Singapore, Dec. 3, 1997 - The Subic Centennial, a Bashford 46 yacht owned by Filipino businessmen, won all four races of the Chiangi Sailing Club Keelboat Regatta.
It won handily over millennium, last year's runner-up to the Lipton Cup Asian regatta series.
The Subic Centennial depicts the Philippine flag in its spinnaker sails in commemoration of next year's celebration of the Philippine Independence Centennial.
The syndicate owners of the Centennial include Vic-Vic Villavicencio, Tony Carpio, Frederick Dy, Toots Echauz, Vince Perez, Patrick Go, Tom Hofvenchiold, Ricky Sandoval, Enrique Filamor and Judes Echauz.
