BOYET, MARICEL GET METRO FILMFEST AWARDS

Manila, Dec. 30, 1997 - Christopher de Leon and Maricel Soriano won Best Actor and Best Actress awards in the Metro Manila Film Festival, where their movie "Nasaan ang Puso" was adjudged best picture.

Out of the 20 awards, "Nasaan ang Puso" took 10, including Best Director.

Lupita Kashiwahara's film "Babae" starring Nora Aunor was Second Best Picture, Nida Blanca got Best Supporting Actress for "Babae" while Ronaldo Valdez was Best Supporting Actor for Nasaan.

"Magic Kingdom won six awards, Babae took four, while the other three took not a single award.
