RICHARD WEDS MODEL IN APRIL?
Manila, Dec. 27, 1997 - Movie columnists are writing about the inevitable: Richard Gomez is finally getting married to his girlfriend, Ormoc heiress Lucy Torres. The wedding, according to Nel Alejandrino of People's Tonight, is set for April, perhaps on the 32nd birthday of Richard.
Lucy was introduced to Manila's movie circle by Richard at one of the social gatherings during the holiday season.
She was also the guest of honor at a private family dinner hosted by Richard in his new home, his dream house which he started building while still engaged to socialite-model-teacher Patricia Borromeo. The occasion served as Lucy's introduction to all the members of Richard's family, especially his Lola whom he adores.
His friends and fans realized how serious Richard was about Lucy when he started spending his weekends in Ormoc, where Lucy's father is a logging magnate.
