LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS FILMING IN MANILA

Manila, Dec. 21, 1997 - Lou Diamond Phillips is arriving on January 23, to shoot his scenes in the movie "Two Girls" which stars Claire Danes and Kate Beckinsale.

Phillips, star of such hits as La Bamba, Young Guns and Courage Under Fire, is expected to finish all his scenes within a week, weather permitting.

The actor, who is part Filipino, was successful in the Yul Brynner role as the monarch in "The King and I" on Broadway.

Whenever and wherever the movie "Two Girls" is filming in Manila and other parts of the Philippines, the surroundings are made up to looks like Bangkok, the setting of the story.
