DENNIS WEDS MARJORIE

Manila, Dec. 19, 1997 - Actor Dennis Padilla and Actress Marjorie Barretto stole a march on their friends and fans last Wednesday.

The two, who have been lovers for at least five years, were married in a dignified, solemn Roman Catholic ceremony at the Archbishop's Palace.

Principal sponsors were Solicitor General Silvestre Bello, Marjorie's brother-in-law Tony Boy Cojuangco, Quezon City Mayor Mel Mathay and Vilma Valera.

The bridal entourage included Randy and Raymart Santiago, Marjorie's sisters Claudine and Gretchen Barretto as matron of honor.

Reception was at the penthouse of the Tektite Towers, the exclusive five-star restaurant Via Mare.
