SHARMAINE IN RP'S OSCAR AWARDS ENTRY FILM

Manila, (RC) Dec. 16, 1997 - The movie "Milagros" will be the Philippines official entry to this year's Oscar Awards. Sharmaine Arnaiz told technology newspaper, Filipino TODAY during her "CyberChat Interview" last December 7, 1997. Sharmaine, who starred in the movie, was interviewed by Filipino Today using the FILIPINO COMMUNITY COMPUTING SECTOR (FCCS) chat room on the Internet.

Sharmaine participated live from her home in Manila in the chat interview hosted and moderated by the Daily News Asia and FilTODAY's staff in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The session was opened to the public and several Filipinos around the world joined fielding questions to Sharmaine through their Internet connections.
