LORNA T GETS TOP GRADES IN FILM MAKING
Manila, Dec. 9, 1997 - Rudy Fernandez is beaming these days, hit by a double whammy of good news.
Wife Lorna Tolentino is coming home from the United States in time to spend the entire holiday season with the family. And she's returning with top grades in movie directing classes.
Lorna T is scheduled to return from San Francisco on December 16 after completing a 3-month course on filmmaking.
She has already submitted major requirements for her course: a narrative report and a short film, which got her a grade of A-minus. Were it not for her sound and musical scoring which needed more polishing, she could have gotten an A-plus.
Her project was a short film about a Filipina on the verge of a nervous breakdown, for which she hired a Pinay actress based in San Francisco. Lorna herself played roles in her classmates' projects.
She's now rushing to complete all the course requirements so she can come home with her diploma.
Husband Rudy is glad that Lorna T. will be home to help him campaign to become mayor of Quezon City.
