HOME PROBLEM AWAITS SHERYL

Manila, Dec. 7, 1997 - The Manila Times Showtime Sunday column predicts problems for Sheryl Cruz should the newly-married daughter of ex-couple stars Rosemarie Sonora and Ricky Belmonte decide to spend Christmas in the Philippines.

Showtime says the Cruz home in Valle Verde, where Sheryl grew up, is not what it used to be. Sheryl's older brother Renzo, now an FLT regular actor, moved out of there a long time ago and now maintains his own apartment in San Juan. Her younger brother Patrick now stays with aunt superstar Susan Roces, sister of Mom Rosemarie.

The main problem , Showtime says, is that Ricky has turned the once-normal family home into a love nest for himself and his new lover, a showbiz newcomer.

Sheryl now resides in the United States with her husband, a movie star-type American law enforcement officer.
