JOLINA SCORES A PLATINUM

Manila, Dec. 3, 1997 - Young performer Jolina Magdangal was recently given a Double Platinum Award by Star Records for the outstanding sales of "Flames the Movie" soundtrack album. She did two cuts in the album, including the theme song "Tameme" which is also the theme song of her story with Marvin Agustin.

The Movie itself is a blockbuster, and even its premier showing in Guam, a first from Star Cinema and ABS-CBN, was a total success.

The award was given to the young all-around entertainer during her birthday celebration on the Sunday noontime show A.S.A.P.

Jolina is now busy shooting another Star Cinema project, "Pag-Ibig Mo, Pag-Ibig Ko" where she co-stars with veterans Maricel Soriano, William Martinez, and her constant movie love interest, Marvin Agustin.

When away from cameras, Jolina is neck-deep in preparations for the recording of her next album.
