RITA MAGDALENA FAITHFUL TO CAGER BF

Manila, Dec. 1, 1997 - Bold star Rita Magdalena, in real life, is the exact opposite of the sirens she plays in the movies, especially in matters of the heart.

"I have a boy friend (basketball player Lowell Briones) so I have no time for other guys. My policy is: no hanky-panky with the people on the set. It might bring bad luck and affect the movie's box office results," Rita says.

Rita had earlier planned to spend the Christmas holidays with her mom who lives and works in New Jersey, but a heavy work load has put her plans in the back burner.

"Sayang ang trabaho ko rito sa Pilipinas. After shooting "Alindog" I will play the part of a lady mayor in a film with Mike Magat," she explains.

"I'll take advantage of the opportunity while a lot of offers are coming my way. America can wait, but work may not. What if I leave and return to find out there are no more offers? So I'll make my job my priority and strike while the iron is hot."
