STOCKS SLIDE CONTINUES
Manila, Dec. 13, 1997 - Share values yesterday fell across the board, with increased selling influenced by the peso's 4% drop.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index lost 20.89 points, closing at 1,854.74. The drop was arrested somewhat by an upsurge in PLDT, which rose 3.03% to P850.
Losers swamped gainers 95 to 13, with 918 million shares traded valued at P1.24 billion.
